The title sequence is made up of animated drawings in notebooks that provide context for the character and its background. It prioritizes the main character and shows the character and the comic book aspect of the character through drawings.

The images carry a fun and comedic connotation showing the comedic aspect of the character. They also show the child like aspect of the character regardless of form the character will remain irresponsible as the child he is. Many of the images show the characters abilities and give a preview into the fun and adventurous parts of the character.

4. How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the outset?

Through the use of comic book-drawn images the title sequence establishes the comic style of childishness and creates an atmosphere of child like innocence. Through showing the child-like aspects of the character the movie sets a precedent that the character carries such traits and is that of the coming of age genre.

5. What strategies are used to ensure the film appeals to its target audience?

As the audience of the movie is young teens to late teens they appeal to their audience through humor and relatability. They create a connection between the character and their watchers. It also makes use of the comic book aspect to appeal to their audience as that is part of the draw of a superhero movie. The comic book characters which teens tend to enjoy.

Through animation and editing the sequence is able to provide the viewer with an experience that represents the film as it should be. Without the use of digital animation and editing to cut in the different title the impact of the sequence would be lost. The way in which they transition between animation makes it so the sequence is seamless and makes for an effective use of technology.
