The opening scene prioritizes placing the main characters on the screen. Many of the characters are shown with afterimages and multiple of them to create a mirror effect that relates to the topic of the movie and prioritizes the effect that these characters will have as they are seen in order of importance.
3.  What connotations do these images carry? 
The images carry a cool and adventurous connotation. As the many characters are introduced each has a trail of themselves as if they are split into many. This creates fun almost mesmerizing effect and leaves the atmosphere very upbeat and exciting to give the watcher wanting more. The images express positive connotations. Each of these leads up to the apex of the opening.
4. How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the outset?
The film leads in with a teenage character and presents him in a manner that shows his need for development in the movie. The music in the opening is used to place an emphasis on the urban setting and the style of the characters. Leading into the last part of which places emphasis on the pictures of graffiti and other urban settings.

They use flashy well done visual effects to entice the viewers and give them the portrayal of comic book characters that they want. The use of music places excitement and the genre of music is more popular with the type of audience that the film is geared toward. Many of the showy stunts and mystery surrounding the characters themselves gives the viewer something to look forward to when watching.
6.  How has technology been used effectively?
 Technology is used throughout to give flashy visual effects that emphasize excitement and suspense as to what the characters look like and the abilities they might have. The use of animation to portray comic book characters give them a sense of fantasy that live-action cant usually express. The quality of effects and animation shows the effort placed in technology and equipment. The opening leads seamless transitions which give the movie a sense of realism even animated
