We are BACK

    Hey guys I'm back for A-level media and I couldn't be more excited. I am Sean I'm 17, a junior at Fort Lauderdale High. I'm from Peru and I love animals and travel.  I have always loved filming and editing and this class just spiked my interest. In this blog, I will show my journey of learning about film and displaying it in projects throughout the year. I am Peruvian and Irish and I love to travel, hence I end up taking photos of everything I see. My favorite place I have visited was Venice. The fact that I know Spanish made communication so much easier so I could fully enjoy the city. And out of the 10 days I spent in Europe in 4 different cities Venice was the best. My entire life is about animals, currently, I have two dogs, Callie and Brandy. Callie is the oldest at four years old while Brandy is only two. I used to have a dog named Lucky who passed away at the age of six. I have always been fond of Hungarian Vizslas as they are the same breed my father grew up with. Eventually, I decided to try something new and get a German shorthair pointer. Yet I missed the dog we had always grown up with so my family decided on getting another. I even owned an exotic hedgehog at one time. Dipper is the name I came to as I was obsessed with a show called Gravity Falls which ended up being the first animated television show I ever finished. TV was a privilege when I was younger so I would cherish the small amount of time I had. One of my favorite shows was Doctor Who but an Episode was too long to watch during my daily time. I would say If I could only do 2 things for the rest of my life it would be watching Television and touring the world. It makes sense why I love cameras and other technology. This class called to me last year and I'm ready to get this year rolling

 1. How do your products represent social groups or issues? Our product is based on a fiction thriller that does not solely represent a social group. However, our products do highlight some issues in the modern day. Starting off with our main protagonist he called the police for help. Yet at the beginning, they were of no use. This can highlight issues in trusting people to ask for help all for it to fall flat and be for nothing. Our film can also highlight the dangers or walking alone.  1. The music video represents teenagers hanging out in the holidays and going out. It shows Brianna and jack going out to a fair and having a good time. Teenagers are social and are always out of the house and this video captures it perfectly. In today's society, people act differently, but this portrays a stereotypical event for teens. It shows them enjoying life and living in the moment relaxing. For teens, the holidays can have some stress with midterms as an obstacle. Yet the video does not capture issues, the group is covers is more young people enjoying the time while it lasts. 2. The genre of music flows best with teenagers and college students. Winter break is highly anticipated for most as it's a time to relax and spend time with friends and family. The audience for the product is people just like the ones in the video. Our Pitch

Two star-crossed lovers who part unwillingly but somehow reconnect. But one of them has moved on. A teen wakes up, and gets ready for school but finds herself alone with her best friend. Where is everyone? For the first idea will we be able to do this? This time of year is really rainy. I don't know if it's possible for us to get the shot on time. Brianna is going to be out of town in Boston from the 16th to the 21st. Do we have time to shoot it. When are we all not busy? I think this will be too hard. I somewhat like the second idea better. I think we'll be able to execute this. Who's house will we do it at? Well, do we really need a house? Maybe it would be better if we did shoot in a house. Even after that scene is outside presentable? What days could we all gather our one's house? If Brianna's out of town we can't do it there. It'll have to be Jack, Markel, or Sean.
