Genre Research: Spider-Man Homecoming
What elements of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie?
The element of this movie that we want to include in the final task is the mis-en-scene and the editing. The movie uses acting to portray meaningful
relationships and issues that real teenagers have to deal with sleeping. Peter
Parker throughout the movie as to deal with the struggles of being a superhero
and also a normal teenage kid. The title of the movie homecoming shows this as Peter
is Spiderman also has to deal with that you can't date to help the clash
between Peter's other life and normal life is that of 1 the watchers can connect
you that we wish to include in our film. In the aspect of filming action movies
always cut back and forth in high-tension moments to build dramatic effects
and even though it is not a drama we wish
to include it in high-stress situations.
What elements of the genre did the movie have that you like?
They use props and acting as a
means to represent each character and how they grow the main characters in the
movie are represented by their clothes and the way they act Peter acts with the
other characters and forms different dynamics with each of them. In the movie, we can see that every time Peter has to put on the mask parts of his everyday
life fall behind to the wayside cheer Peter struggles with maintaining his
everyday life and also maintaining his superhero persona. Throughout the movie, we see Peter progress as he learns to maintain a sort of normalcy after
defeating the villain and keeping his identity a secret for the most part. Music
in the movie is used in scenes to dramatize the tone and create an atmosphere that
amplifies the actions of each character on screen. Watchers get to have a
better sense of connection with the characters when the music
amplifies each scene. The way the music and acting in the movie help portray
the characters and their individual traits makes it easier for the watcher to
form connections and this is one of the conventions in this movie that I like
the most.
