A slight filming disaster
I thought it was all done. But it is never that simple. Jack and I arrived a bit early and got in line. Later Brianna joined us, the fair opened and the line started moving. After checking in we realized we need to wait for randy for our opening scene so we did just that. Fast forward half an hour and he messages us his car broke down on the highway. I thought it couldn't get any worse but I was simply wrong. The main character is out and we can't reschedule to film. Jack has to take over the role and scenes change in a flash. After all the waiting we don't have time for an opening scene and shift it to a walkout of the park to finish. Also since it was dark filming on a ride was a no-go. So we try to extend the shots and work with what we got. Come to the big Ferris wheel scene they ask us for a group. We so happen to be put in a pod with people making filming difficult and id be lying if it wasn't awkward. And to end it off the final scene we moved ended up being one of the most crowded shots we took. Even 3 hours after the fair opened people kept pouring in. Randy on the other hand was stuck on the side of the road alone. He had to call his family and was stuck in a situation. He looked like a hitchhiker on the side of the road. But he did offer to edit which took some work off everyone's back.
